The place is immaculate; the bed was so comfortable. My favorite was the pool/hot tub combination just inches from each other. Perfect for winding down or getting going. I would DEFINITELY stay here again. BTW, climate control worked beautifully.

My softball team stays with The DoubleTree Richmond Airport every Memorial Day Weekend. From the time I begin to make arrangments for 6-7 rooms until the time we check out, the staff treats us like a 5 star hotel. The rooms are always well kept and comfortable. We have an option to stay a many other hotels in the area, but my team insist we stay at The DoubleTree Richmond Airport. The warm cookies on arrival are a nice touch too!

The hotel is quite good, the room and bed are very comfortable. I found the staff quite friendly but what really needs improvement is the room cleaning!! The pillows and the bed smell BAD!!! The floor of the shower/bath is black! --> please use bleach! I'm even afraid of getting some moulds on my feet! And in the hotel survey they focus just in the staff service but not in the main things, I don't care if in reception they call me by my first name or not, what I want is a clean room!
